We are a Performing Arts School that is dedicated to teaching students and parents the value of hard work to reach attainable goals! Our teachers teach in a style that makes learning music and dance fun and engaging for all abilities, showing all students that they are talented and capable of becoming the musician or dancer that they want to be.
What we Do:
Music House has provided instrumental education for Chicago for over 60 years. We specialize in group and private music education for a wide range of instruments including Violin, Piano, Guitar, Brass, Woodwind and Percussion, as well as dance and movement classes for children and adults.
We provide instrumental music education to several Chicago Public Elementary Schools with a variety of group lessons. Violin classes begin in Pre-K, and lessons on Rock Band instruments begin at 3rd grade. Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced ensembles are developed throughout the school year to perform at school, our own venue—and yours!
Private lessons and ensembles are available on Saturdays, Sundays, and weeknights to compliment and support our In-School Music Education Program, and to fit a variety of schedules. Download our latest flyer of options and opportunities here.
Music House has a retail music store providing musical instruments, accessories, and rental instruments to its patrons and students. Financial assistance is available–please inquire.
