Ms. Rachel’s Classes present: Alice in Wonderland

It is a bright sunny day, and all the children from around the neighborhood are running and playing at the park. Alice is excited to join in and make new friends but sadly, the other children are not very nice to her. She ends up alone and falls asleep under a tree. When she wakes up, she spies one of her friends.. with a tail? "I’m late!” The Rabbit says, and they run off into the woods. Alice follows and somehow ends up in a mysterious and wonderful world. Alice encounters a mysterious Cheshire Cat who sends her off in the wrong direction. She comes upon a garden of living, talking flowers that waltz about, meets a magic Caterpillar dancing on their many legs, and finally finds The White Rabbit at the most peculiar tea party. She continues to follow the Rabbit and happens upon a deck of cards painting the rose bushes red after they mistakenly planted white ones. The Queen hates white roses. The Queen arrives, sees the white roses, and orders the cards to be punished. She chases Alice and the Rabbit back through the woods and in the midst of the chaos, Alice wakes up.

Ms. Shawn’s Classes Present: The Time Machine

A dancer enters a Time Machine nervous of the unknown. She visits dancers in the 1940s, 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s. They celebrate together knowing there is joy to be found in the past, present, and future. This production features original choreography by the advanced students, including the Graduating Senior Solos of Amelia and Paloma.

Ms. Anna’s Classes Present: The Telescope

This is a story about 3 sisters, one who wants to see the world and two who want to never leave home. They find a compromise by building a telescope, but when a fight causes them to break it, the pieces get taken by creatures from far away: an octopus, a tree, and a star. The sisters must go on an adventure to reunite the pieces of the telescope, and discover some new friends along the way.

Ms. Mocha’s Class Presents: We are One!

A trio of individuals find themselves stuck in the same room. They're dancing around effortlessly until they notice that they're all mimicking each other's every move. They're completely in sync. Only, they come to find that it's not three individuals, it's one; they're all the same person.

Ms. Alexa’s Classes present: Movie Magic

When two kids are having fun watching Bluey together, the TV breaks and takes them through songs from different movies and genres. They enjoy some more than others! Finally, they settle on watching 101 Dalmatians and see the group of dogs come to life.

Ms. Kathleen & Ms. Ginny’s classes present: The Magical Forest

Summer has finally arrived in Chicago and the Junior dance company are on their way to go camping. As they travel, the weather starts to play tricks and when they arrive at their campground they realize that their smartphones have disappeared. The dancers wonder how they will pass the time?! They decide on campfire stories!

As stories are shared over the campfire, woodland-creatures start to stir around the campgrounds.  The forest feels a new energy as Mother Nature's plan comes to fruition.

Let’s embark on this magical journey with these dance students!
